Probation or Suspension

STUDENTS PLACED ON PROBATION

Students placed on academic probation are required to be advised/re-advised before they will be allowed to register/re-register.

Students who fail to meet with an advisor will have their schedule dropped as follows:

Spring 2024 schedules - dropped January 12, 2024 at 4:00 PM

Students placed on probation will not be able to process schedule changes until a "Probation Advisement Hold" has been removed by an advisor.

Students who need Probation Advising should contact the SAM Center (Student Advising & Mentoring Center), (936) 294-4444, or their academic advisor.

STUDENTS PLACED ON SUSPENSION

Students placed on suspension at the end of the Fall 2023 term are required to complete the Intent to Return Readmission Form.

Students who fail to meet the requirements of suspension readmission will have their schedule dropped as follows:

Spring 2024 schedules - dropped January 12, 2024 at 4:00 PM

Note: Readmission of all students conforms with Chapter 3 of Vol 2, Federal Student Aid Handbook.
