TSUS and SHSU are working to implement policies related to the new Department of Education Title IX Regulations that are effective August 14, 2020.

ADDRESSING SEXUAL MISCONDUCT
Sam Houston State University takes sexual harassment and sexual misconduct seriously in order to maintain an environment that promotes prompt reporting of all types of Sexual Misconduct. The university upholds timely and fair resolution of Sexual Misconduct complaints under the advisement of the Title IX Coordinator.
Further, Title IX officers take prompt and appropriate action to eliminate Sexual Misconduct when such is committed, prevent its recurrence, and remedy its effects. (Click to View Policy)
NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION
