MEDICAL STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Office of Medical Student Affairs provides a supportive culture that promotes holistic student development and educational life balance. We offer comprehensive programs and services that educate, engage, and empower our students to achieve their personal, educational, and career goals. We aim to do this by providing services and programs in a supportive environment that enhances students’ intellectual experience, promotes students’ career planning, fosters students’ feelings of well-being, stimulates students’ professional development, provides students with leadership opportunities, and activates students’ commitment to diversity.

LIBRARY RESOURCES

The College Library supports the learning and research needs of students in the DO program by providing access to a wide variety of medical resources, including databases, eBooks, and digital Resource and Research Guides.  A medical librarian is also on-campus to assist students in research activities, like selecting sources, finding evidence, managing references, and more.  Students also have access to the print and digital collections, and services available from the University Library located in Huntsville, Texas.
