The Spring 2026 semester is right around the corner! As we gear up for the second half of the academic year, we know some students may be ready for a change of scenery with their on-campus housing - and that's where hall transfers come in.
Instructions for submitting a Hall Transfer Request are linked below. Requests open on October 20th, and students who apply will be notified before the Thanksgiving holiday if your request has been approved.
If you are a graduating senior or your plans have changed and will take you away from SHSU, you will need to request a Fall To Spring Cancellation. Also, instructions for contract release are below.
