Microsoft Teams: Restoring Channels

Sometimes, accidents happen! In the event a team owner or member (if the member had permission) deletes a channel, a channel can be restored.

To restore a channel, locate the team that needs a channel restored from your team list.

1. Click on the ellipsis (...)
2. Then select Manage team.

In the team options,

1. Select Channels.
2. Select the triangle next to Deleted to display any channels that have been deleted for this team.
3. Select Restore.

A confirmation message will display indicating that the channel, along with all the conversations and content of the channel will be restored. Select Restore.
