Microsoft Teams: Managing Channels

Teams can have different channels to manage events, projects or topics. Channels have their own set of options and they will vary depending on if you are a team owner or a member.

• Owner Options

  To access Channel settings, select the ellipsis (...) next to the Channel name.

  

  The two primary options to review are:

  1. Channel notifications – set what notifications you want to receive for the channel

  

  2. Manage channel – allows the owner to review channel settings, such as who can post in the channel

  

• Member Options
