Waltzes

Seduzione, Op. 133, PP.142.6

The instrumentation of this waltz marks it as being brought to Cremona by Ponchielli after the dissolution of the (much) smaller unit in Piacenza. It is a briefer work than all of the other waltzes, though it may have been extended by repeats given from the podium.

The title "Seduction" attests to the the supposed effect that the waltz may have had upon its audiences at that time.
