Outlook: Opening a Shared Calendar

Select Calendar from the Navigation Pane at the bottom of the Folder Pane.

  1. Click Open Calendaron the toolbar. There are a few options. The most relevant for a shared calendar are:
    1. From Address Book - Opens up the global address list to select the proper person.
    2. From Room List - Opens up a list of rooms so to view the room availability schedule.
    3. Open Shared Calendar - manually type the name of the calendar (instructions below)
  2. Select Open Shared Calendar

Select Open Shared Calendar 

In the Open a Shared Calendar box,

  1. Type the name of the calendar to access in the popup box
  2. Click OK.

The calendar should then be displayed now. Once the calendar is opened, it will appear with other calendars in the Shared Calendars section. Choose which calendars to display by checking or unchecking the box in the panel next to the calendars.
