Organizations

The LEAP Center administers two campus organizations, both of which promote the Center's mission to offer unique learning opportunities to students.  The two organizations are:

Pre-Law Society (Legal Kats):

This is a traditional pre-law society, noted for the rich opportunities offered to students.  Students have the opportunity to learn more about the LSAT and to improve their score; learn more about the law-school application process; meet legal professionals from across the state; and obtain preferred seating at LEAP Center law-related events.

Moot Court Team:

Sam Houston's Moot Court team is one of 380 offered nation-wide and affords students a great opportunity to develop critical-thinking skills, learn basic legal principles, improve their public skills, and gain simulated court-room experience.
