Zoriah Miller, an award winning photo journalist joined GCJD to offer a visual story telling workshop for students. More than two dozen students had a chance to work closely with this experienced photojournalist. Besides sharing technical knowledge, Zoriah discussed how he gets assignments, his work in conflict zones, the equipment he uses, ethical challenges, and how he deals with witnessing atrocities.
Many students left the workshop feeling inspired. " I'm not a photojournalist, and had little knowledge about the topic but I really felt like I learned something and definitely developed an interest for photography" said one attendee.
