The Sam Houston University Foundation Inc. (SHUF) is a Texas nonprofit corporation, 501(c)(3), established in 2012. It supports and furthers the mission of Sam Houston State University through the acceptance and investment of gifts as endowments and making expenditures benefiting SHSU students, faculty, and staff. The SHUF is a separate, independent, not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation from Sam Houston State University.
