The Fitness Program offers comprehensive activities for the Bearkat Community. Programs include Group Fitness Classes, HIIT, Circuit Training, Dance Fitness, Personal Training, Fitness Workshops, Certifications, and a variety of weight room and cardio equipment.

Elevate Campus Wellbeing and Wellness Works Initiative
The Sam Houston State University Employee Wellness Program’s objective is to encourage students, faculty, and staff to achieve and maintain an improved level of personal health and wellness. Research shows correlations with improved job performance, increased work satisfaction, and reduced health care/insurance costs through participation in wellness-related activities.
