Watermark Faculty Success

The Watermark Faculty Success is the primary system used for faculty annual review and promotion & tenure processes at SHSU. In April 2024, it was announced that all 2025 faculty reviews will be done using Watermark Activities reporting. This means that faculty will need to enter their CV data into the system, if they haven’t done so already.

• At a minimum, faculty CV information from Sept. 2019 to present must be entered by Dec. 1, 2024.*
• For now, older CV data is to be entered at the faculty member’s discretion.



*In some cases, if you have extended your time between promotions or have tolled the tenure clock, it may be necessary to enter CV data from prior to September 2019, as your reviewers may need to refer back to more historical accomplishments.

We recognize that this data entry may take a significant investment of time, however, this is a one-time process. Once your entire CV is housed within Watermark, in future years, you will only need to update the system with the most recent additions since the last review cycle.

Logging into Watermark Faculty Success

1. Go to Watermark Faculty Success
2. You may receive a two-factor authentication (DuoSecurity) prompt to connect via campus Single Sign-On (SSO)
3. The navigation toolbar in the upper left allows you to choose the module of Watermark Faculty Success you wish to enter: Activities, Reports, and Workflow.
