LastPass: Mobile App
LastPass is available on your mobile device. Select the type of mobile device below for instructions on how to install the app.

iOS
Open the App Store
- Search for LastPass
- Once the LastPass Password Manager app is located, select Get
Once the app is installed, open the app by selecting the LastPass icon.
The app will display a Welcome to LastPass window that has some basic information about the app. You can swipe through the information.
The last introductory screen instructs the user to enable app notification. Select Enable.
A notification will then display asking if the user would like LastPass to send notifications. Note: IT@Sam recommend Allow, however, you can select Don’t Allow if you prefer.
Once the notifications options is selected, LastPass will provide you with an option to Sign up or Log In. If you already created your account, select Log In. If you have not created your account, visit our Create Account tutorial.
On the Log in screen,
- Enter your personal email address used for your LastPass account
- Enter the password for your LastPass count
- Select Log In
The app will ask if you want to use Face ID or fingerprint (depends on phone model) to log in and for account recovery. Select your preference and select Save. Note: IT@Sam recommends that you choose one of the biometric authentication options to further secure your password Vault.
The app will them offer to show the user how to use LastPass to automatically fill in usernames and passwords. If you want take advantage of that feature, select Show me How, if you prefer to skip that option, select Dismiss.
Once that option is selected, you can view your Vault.

Open the Google Play Store
- Search for LastPass
- Once the LastPass Password Manager app is located, select Install

Once you swipe through the welcome messages, LastPass will provide you with an option to Sign up or Log In. If you already created your account, select Log In. If you have not created your account, visit our Create Account tutorial.
On the Log in screen, enter your credentials and log in. Due to the security of the Android and LastPass, we are unable to obtain screenshots of the login screen or the app once logged in.
