Bio

Diane Langton has 20 years of experience teaching in Nursing programs. She earned the D.N.P. from the U.T. Health Science Center in Houston. Her past experience includes work as a nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care and volunteer work in a clinic for the underserved. Dr. Langton has traveled with students to Nicaragua for a global nursing experience. Dr. Langton enjoys writing and has published in a few nursing and/or allied health journals. She been a member of various faculty committees when a full-time faculty member. Professional organizations that she belongs to include Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Pediatrics and Sam Houston State University Nursing Honor Society.
