Global Fellowships
The Global Engagement Center (GEC) supports high-achieving SHSU undergraduate and graduate students applying for external, nationally-competitive fellowships, scholarships and awards such as the Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright, Mitchell, Truman, Goldwater, Boren, and many others.
Some fellowships that fund undergraduate or graduate research are available directly from particular institutions, while others are national programs open to any student. GEC is available to help students with all fellowships, whether the fellowships require college nomination or not.
