Numerous resources are available to students at Sam Houston State University including various lab and computing facilities, research centers, libraries, and funding support. The Geography and Geology Department has two teaching and research labs (GIS and Remote Sensing) conveniently located in the Lee Drain Building, both equipped with the state of the art hardware and software.
