Adult Education, Graduate Certificate

The Adult Education certificate will provide students with strategies and techniques necessary to effectively educate adults. Individuals holding either a bachelors or masters degree who wish to provide professional development or trainings to educate adults in schools, business, non-profit organizations, and/or institutions of higher learning would be prime candidates for this certificate.
Students are required to complete the following courses for this certificate:
- CIED 5360 – Advanced Techniques and Methods of Instruction
- CIED 5397 – Human Growth and Development Across the Life Span
- CIED 5383 – Integrating Current Technologies in Teaching
- CIED 6394 – Developing Curriculum for Adults
This Graduate Certificate is eligible to receive Title IV funding – Direct Unsubsidized Loans and Graduate PLUS loans by request. To be considered for aid, students need to submit a FAFSA.
