Summer Camps

COVID-19 Update

We are excited to announce that SHSU will be hosting summer camps during summer 2021!
We are working hard to safely plan a way to host summer camps on our campus this summer. Many covid safety protocols will be in place, including:

    Single-room occupancy for overnight camps
Pre-camp screening (may include questionnaires and temperature checks)
Distanced activities and groups organized in a way to limit exposure/risk

The full list of camps and status updates are available below.

Email and thank you again for your patience and understanding as we continue to focus on our students’ health and safety.

Eat ‘em up Kats!

Camp@SAM is a program designed for high school juniors (class of 2022) to explore SHSU, learn about the college application process, and what to expect as they begin college. We are working on what virtual options we have for this event and will will have more information shortly, but please feel free to contact our office if you have questions.

Parents/Guardians may also expect to have the option to join our camp experience to visit with staff, ask questions, and get university information about helping their student during the college application and transition processes.
