Find Your First-Generation Community in the Trailblazer Faculty/Staff Mentor Program

The Trailblazer Mentoring Program matches first-generation students with faculty and staff who have successfully navigated the university experience and have specialized knowledge and connections at Sam Houston State University. Participating in the Trailblazer Program will afford you the opportunity to learn from your mentor’s leadership and benefit from the support of our First-Generation Center.

Students who participate in program events and meetings collect points toward earning free merchandise and ultimately a free First-Generation Graduation Stole.
