Kick Off The Semester With Welcome Week Festivities

Welcome back, Bearkats! We hope your holiday break was enjoyable and restful.

No matter what your resolutions for the new year are—we know one of them must be to participate in more events, wink wink—the Department of Student Activities has you covered with these exciting Welcome Week activities!

Tuesday, Jan. 17:

Warm up for Welcome Week from 8 to 9:30 AM.

First Day of School Photos from 11 AM to 1 PM.

LSC Welcome Back Bearkats from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.

Meet the Peer Mentors session from 11:30 to 1 PM.

TRIO Student Support Services Meet and Greet from 3 to 5 PM at LSC 241.

 At 6 PM, TRIO will also be presenting a "PC Virtual Bingo" on Zoom for our Bingo fans.

Wednesday, Jan. 18:

Sammy’s Snapshots at Sammy’s Huge Chair from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Volunteer Opportunities and Organization Fair at the LSC Orange Ballroom from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

SMM Workshop: Surviving the Next Four Years at LSC 116, 2:30 PM.

It’s Glow Time with Career Success at Frank Parker Plaza, 5 to 7 PM.

Speed Friending at LSC 230, 5:15 to 6:15 PM.

Thursday, Jan. 19:

Fuel-up with Chick-fil-A at LSC 215, 11:30 AM to 1 PM.

First-Gen Mixer at LSC 241, 11 AM to 1:30 PM.

Vision Boards: Spring into Success! at LSC 230, come and go 3 to 5 PM.

Sammy’s Emcee and Announcer Auditions at LSC 215, 3 to 5 PM.

Friday, Jan. 20:

MLK Day of Service, Huntsville Community, 9 AM to 1 PM.

Student Alumni Association Games and Giveaways at Frank Parker Plaza, 11:00 AM to 1 PM.

Bearkat Spirit Friday at Frank Parker Plaza, 11 AM to 1 PM.
