The BA in Art is a liberal arts degree that provides students with an opportunity to acquire knowledge and appreciation of contemporary art and the history that informs it, an understanding of the principles and theories of art and design, and training in techniques in a variety of mediums with an emphasis on personal expression and creativity. The degree requires a minor and 14 hours of Foreign Language.
