You are considered a transfer student if...

Transfer Requirements

  • 0-11 Hours: Meet beginning freshman requirements & Minimum 2.5 GPA on transferable hours
  • 12-17 Hours: Minimum 2.5 GPA on transferable hours
  • 18+ Hours: Minimum 2.0 GPA on transferable hours

SHSU accepts a maximum of 70 credit hours; for specifics on how they apply to your degree plan, please connect with your Academic Advisor.
