Kevin Gasio (he/him/his) comes to Huntsville from Los Angeles by way of New York City. His educational credentials include an MM in Vocal Performance and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University, a BA in Music from Cal Poly Pomona, and two AA degrees from Citrus College. He has previously held teaching appointments at New York University, Citrus College, and The School of Arts + Enterprise in Pomona, California. At SHSU, Kevin teaches Musical Theatre Applied Voice. 

Kevin is an accomplished director and music director. His work has been seen in regional houses across Southern California. As a performer, Kevin spent several holiday seasons singing and ringing English Handbells at the Disneyland Resort and sang in the choir for the Los Angeles regional premiere of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Kevin is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and participated in the NYC-NATS Mentorship Program, studying under the mentorship of Mary Saunders Barton and Richard Lissemore.
