Join the Choral and Voice faculty of Sam Houston State University School of Music, along with master teachers from around the state, for four-day camp of music making and fellowship! Get a leg up on the audition process, while having amazing experiences and making friends that will last a lifetime. SHSU's All-State Choir Camp is a great way to spend your summer!

Welcome to the SHSU All-State Choir Camp! We have redesigned our camp experience this year to better serve you, the singer. Our camp faculty is comprised of some of the finest choral musicians in the Houston metro area. They will play an integral role in helping you develop as a musician and preparing you for the audition process. At SHSU you will learn all the LSC mixed and treble or tenor-bass music. In addition, we will prepare you for what to expect during the audition process, including strategies for sight-reading and how to continue the learning process after camp. Of course, there will be an end of camp performance, but more importantly, we want you to leave campus with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully move through the audition process. Choir Camp would not be complete without a fun-loving, engaging camp staff and fun activities while you are on campus, so come prepared to have fun, learn, and make friendships and lasting memories! We hope to see you there!

2023 All-State Faculty will be updated soon! Previous All-State Camp Faculty include:

Refunds and Cancelations:

Please note the $75 registration fee required for initial registration is non-refundable.  If it is determined your camper will not be able to attend, please contact Kelli Irwin at and she will work with accounting to process a refund for payments made over the initial registration fee of $75.00. All refunds are processed upon the conclusion of summer camps and are issued in the form of a university check which will be mailed to the address listed on your camper’s registration. Refunds take approximately 3 to 4 weeks for processing. For questions concerning refunds or refund status, please contact Phyllis Finley at Thank you.

Please make sure to check your junk and spam folders for emailed payment confirmations sent from Touchnet. In addition, we ask that you not use an ISD email address, if possible, as your institution’s firewall can prevent the receipt of emailed messages from Touchnet/Marketplace regarding payment confirmations.

Medical Release

Each camper must have a Medical Release Form, which can be found on the SHSU camps website. The medical release form can be emailed to or brought with you to registration. Front and back copies of the camper’s insurance card are required if the camper is insured.
