Bio

E. Jeannine Grantham, Ph.D. is a lecturer of Interior Design in the Department of Human Sciences, at Sam Houston State University where she has been a lecturer since 2022. She completed her Ph.D. at Texas Tech University, in December 2008. Her research interests lie in the area of environments for abused children and environmental design.

Dr. Grantham was an Assistant Professor at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia from 2009 – 2021 and served as Chair of the Department of Interior Design from 2010 – 2017. She served on the College of Engineering Council, the University Scientific Committee, the Female Campus Leadership Committee, the Interior Design Curriculum Committee, and the University Council among other committees. She is now serving as the instructor for an introductory course in art and design and residential design.

Dr. Grantham enjoys being semi-retired and spending time with her three granddaughters. She loves to travel and explore ancient civilization sites in the Middle East.
