The Department of Human Sciences offers a 17-month Master of Science in Dietetics combined with a Dietetic internship program. This is a non-thesis degree and accredited dietetic internship program with a concentration in Community Research and Wellness. The program is designed to meet the competencies for entry-level practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and requires the completion of a 36-credit M.S. degree in Dietetics and 1000 hours of supervised practice experience.

Students who study human sciences learn about topics that contribute to a healthy human experience and particularly topics that address our basic human needs for food, shelter, and clothing. Our degree programs, faculty expertise and knowledge, clinical and internship experiences, and broad learning opportunities equip students to make a positive impact on the physical, mental, behavioral, and overall health of families and the communities they will someday serve.
