STEM
Teachers, SHSU and LSC-UP are looking for area high school STEM classes to visit! Our goal is to demonstrate the interdisciplinary nature of the geosciences (e.g., how geologists use physics to locate oil and gas) and discuss career opportunities with students. We’d like to come talk to your students about how math, biology, chemistry, physics, etc., are applicable to real world examples in the Geosciences.
