2020 Virtual Commencement
Honoring the Sam Houston State University Class of 2020
This year marks SHSU's 141st Commencement and while we must be separated at this moment of celebration, the spirit of our Bearkat community has never been stronger. On Saturday, August 1, we will celebrate that comradery and much more as we come together virtually to honor the graduation of the Class of 2020 and officially confer their hard-earned degrees. This event will be live streamed, and after, each college will host their own online ceremony.
Once it is safe to do so, we want to welcome you back to Sam Houston State University to walk in a future commencement exercise. By then, we will be eager not just to celebrate the Class of 2020 in person, but to officially recognize the sacrifices and the accomplishments you have made.
