Expressive Activity
Expressive Activity is a First Amendment right and with it comes a great deal of responsibility. SHSU supports a students right to express him or herself.
We encourage each student to be aware of his or her rights, the university's policies, and the rights of others. All speakers, including those that may express offensive or unpopular views, enjoy these rights.
How can you utilize your First Amendment rights so your message is heard in a responsible way? First, familiarize yourself with the SHSU policies with regard to the appropriate time, place, and manner for expressive activities. You can GET INVOLVED by utilizing any of these opportunities:
