Mathematics Education Program

The Mathematics Education program at SHSU helps prepare students for teaching at all levels.

Future secondary school teachers effectively earn a BA/BS degree in mathematics and a minor in secondary education.  More information can be found here:

The M.A. degree in Mathematics is a 36-hour non-thesis program which prepares those who want to teach mathematics at community colleges, teach AP or concurrent enrollment at the high school level, and/or pursue a doctorate in mathematics education. Click here for more information.
