Keeley Dunnam presents Telephone: A Collaborative Experience

After researching the way that artists can draw inspiration from one another, Dunnam created this collaborative project that brings together eighteen artists and eight dancers to present a gallery of work that uses dance as a catalyst for creation.

Amy Fitzsimmons and Shohei Iwahama in shared thesis concert

IN REEL LIFE, Amy Fitzsimmons’ latest choreographic work, showcases the border between cyberspace and the real world.  Inspired by Eastern philosophy, Iwahama explores how creativity can emerge in an environment where artists embrace spontaneity by trusting simplicity, patience, and compassion in 然 – Nen –.

This production is organized through the dance honor society Chi Tau Epsilon and is a showcase of dance works by undergraduate students fully curated and produced by the students themselves.

Senior Studio

Senior Studio is an evening of dance that features the choreographic capstone works of the senior class. This presentation is one of the requirements of the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. Twelve senior choreographers will present work. Program varies each evening.

Dance Spectrum in Concert

Dance Spectrum in Concert is an evening of dance choreographed by dance faculty and guest artists and provides dance majors with an opportunity to hone their craft by working on challenging repertory in an atmosphere that is professional in nature. This year's concert will feature works by guest artist Gregory Dolbashion, and faculty Francisco Graciano, Adele Nickel, Andrew Noble, Dionne Noble, Jennifer Pontius and Evelyn Toh.

Senior Showcase and Awards Ceremony

The BFA in Dance senior class will share choreographic solos as a senior capstone performance/choreographic project that is created as part of the Career Resources in Dance course. This celebratory performance is followed by a Department of Dance Awards Ceremony acknowledging student achievements for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Admission is free and seating first come/first serve.

This showcase features the work of Dance Minors and Non-Dance majors from Dance classes taken during the semester. Faculty and students work together to present dances that demonstrate what they learned in the course.
