Most memorable SHSU experience: Having my life story featured on a Today@Sam slider as a freshman.
Favorite SHSU tradition: Homecoming week.
Why did you choose SHSU?: I was set on going to a huge university, but my sister (who graduated from Sam) convinced me to go to Saturdays@Sam. I distinctively remember loving how small and beautiful the campus was and thinking how easy it would be for me to make friends, and I was right.
Why did you want to be on the Orientation Team: When I attended orientation, I met an Orientation Leader who gave me so much great advice and was an inspiration/ role model to me. At that moment, I knew that I wanted to be able to help others the way that she helped me.
What advice would you give incoming students?: Be yourself, and know that that's good enough.
