Raymond L. Scarborough is a native of Houston County, Texas. He received his B.S. Degree from Sam Houston in 1930; his Master's Degree from the University of Houston. He was a professional educator for many years. He also served as a former Executive Director of the Sam Houston Alumni Association. He is now associated with a real estate firm in Huntsville. Mr. Scarborough is married to the former Jerry Varner of Humble. The Scarboroughs have three children.
