Everitt Donald Walker calls Livingston, Texas home. He received his B.S. Degree from Sam Houston in 1948; a Master in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 1949; and an honorary Doctor of Laws from Southwestern University in 1976. After a colorful career as a test pilot in the United States Airforce, Mr. Walker entered the business world. he joined the University of Texas System in 1955. He is now President and Chief Operating Officer of the twelve campus University of Texas System, one of the largest educational systems in the United States. Dr. Walker is married to the former Kathryn Marie Keneaster. They have one son, Everitt Donald Walker, Jr. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel B. Walker of Livingston.
