Welcome!
Advanced Animal Science and Advanced Plant & Soil Science are two of nine new Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses that meet Texas high school graduation requirements for science. The objectives of the courses are to teach students how to apply science concepts to real world, industry-specific challenges. As such, approximately 50% of the course contains new content which reflects the integration of foundation science principles.
This website is to serve as a repository of resources to aid teachers whom have completed the professional development for Advanced Animal Science and Advanced Plant & Soil Science. Within the contents of this site can be found multiple resources such as: lessons, activities, laboratories, evaluations, and links to relevant professional organizations and expert contacts.
