Art Minors

The Department offers minors in two-dimensional and three-dimensional studio art, photography, art history, and interior design.

2-Dimensional Studio Art Minor and 3-Dimensional Studio Art Minor offers students with other majors the learn fundamental skills and knowledge of art. Minors take the WASH program, Drawing 1 and nine hours of advanced credit in 2D or 3D art.

The Photography Minor is designed to provide the general student with a basic understanding and appreciation of the art of photography. It is particularly useful for mass communication majors.

The Art History Minor is available to provide the general student with an appreciation and a basic understanding of the history of art. BFA in Studio Art majors are also encouraged to minor in art history.
