2013 Fall Aid
Aid began applying to student accounts the week of August 19, 2013. It may take several days to receive your full aid package. Refunds in excess of University charges will be sent to Higher One approximately four business days after aid is disbursed. All disbursements and refunds will be viewable on your student account.
Beginning Fall 2013
The Texas State Aid priority deadline is March 15. This is applicable to the TEXAS grant and Texas Top 10% Scholarship programs. Please note: The Texas State Aid priority deadline is earlier than the SHSU priority deadline for Fall applications. IMPORTANT FAFSA updates Due to Regulation Changes
The 2013-2014 FAFSA encourages students and their parents to import tax information from the IRS. The IRS Data Retrieval saves time and eliminates the probability of being chosen for verification.
