Parenting Students
According to Texas S.B. 459, higher education institutions offering early registration will also provide priority registration for parenting students: a parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of 18.
Parenting Student Registration
All students who qualify as a parenting student will need to self-certify by completing the Parenting Student Form. To be considered for priority registration, you must self-certify by the dates listed for each term below.
Students will be required to recertify for each registration period. The certification form will become available to submit one month before registration opening for the upcoming term.
Summer 2025: Friday, March 7, 2025 at 5 PM
Fall 2025: Friday, March 21, 2025 at 5 PM
Summer 2025: Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 1 PM for students who qualified and self-certified
Fall 2025: Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 1 PM for students who qualified and self-certified
