The purpose of the event was to learn from other universities and share ideas about campus recreation. The sessions provided opportunities to improve programs at individual facilities as well as ways to train staff and develop students in the workplace.

Overall, the conference was a great experience. “As a first semester graduate student, I was able to take away information that will help me bring fresh new ideas to the Rec Sports department as well as to the student staff. I was able to interact with people from all over the country, and build lasting relationships that will allow me to succeed professionally in the future.” Clera Wilkerson.
