Hi! My name is Miranda Cloud and I am excited to teach 2nd grade at SHSU Charter School Brighton location. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have been teaching in the public school system since August 2006. Teaching second grade is my passion. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have one amazing daughter. She's 5 years old and attends school here at SHSU Charter School. One of the reasons I chose to join the SHSU Charter School was because I thought it was best for my daughters education to be in a smaller environment and have a more hands on learning. I am excited to be able to teach in a variety of ways, that reaches all of my students needs and have each of my students feel successful. When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the movies, reading, traveling, enjoying outdoor activities and spending time with my family.
