Jalene Potter

Editor: Jalene P. Potter, Ph.D.

Jalene P. Potter, Ph.D., is associate professor at SHSU, received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.  She has worked in higher education for eight years after spending fifteen years in the EC-12 schools as a teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum specialist.  Her writing/research interests include lesson design, curriculum alignment, teacher preparation, and instructional coaching. 

Richard Henriksen

Associate Editor: Richard Henriksen, Jr., Ph.D

Richard Henriksen, Jr., Ph.D., is a professor in the department of counselor education at SHSU and received his doctorate from Texas A&M Commerce. He has been a counselor for 20 years and a counselor educator for 15 years. His research interests include multicultural counseling, counselor supervision, spirituality and religion in counseling, and counseling the multiple heritage population.

Bob Maninger

Associate Editor: Robert M. Maninger, Ed.D.

Robert M. Maninger, Ed.D., associate professor at SHSU, received his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. His minor was in instructional technology, which is one of his areas of expertise. He has been in academia for ten years after spending twenty years in the EC-12 schools. His writing/research interests include; technology integration, teacher morale and moonlighting, and administrative case studies.
