New York, New York – October 25-26, 2017

BizBash Live New York was held at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. This event gave way for participants to connect and learn from their peers, and attend a trade show of veBizBash2ndors from across the country, but primarily from the New York area, showcase innovations in event planning, and bring standards of event planning to the modern world.

The conference also provided different workshops and educational sessions with keynote speakers discussing everything from event design and sponsorship, to technology and social media. A few of the speakers and their topics included: Patricia Padilla, Founder, 196 Strategies, discussed “The Power of a Message: How Nonprofits Can Motivate, Activate, and Inspire, Deborah Curtis, VP, Global Experiential Marketing and Partnerships, American Express, “How American Express Creates Partnerships That Enhance the Fan Journey,” Beth Kormanik, Editor-in-Chief, BizBash, and Collen Kennedy Cohen, Director of Events, GOOP partnered to discuss “Events as Brand-Builders: The Goop Perspective.” These speakers, all of whom are influencers in the world of event planning, provided valuable instruction on building your brand or improving your social media presence, as well as insight on becoming successful event planners. 

Overall, this event was interactive, friendly, informative, and enlightening. It provided a modern look into the field of event planning and a look into the future of the industry. Attendees had the opportunity to connect, collaborate and build lasting relationships.
