First Grade, Greengate location
I was born and raised in Alabama, (Roll Tide!) before I moved to the Houston area in late 2016 with my husband and our children (two teens and an elementary aged). My youngest is a student in the charter school! I have a Master's degree from Western Governor's University. I was blessed last year to teach Specials at our Brighton Location, and this is my first year teaching first grade!
I love teaching at the charter school because it gives me the ability to teach in a variety of different ways. Our school is amazing for its STEAM based education.
One of my favorite things about the charter school is the how we (the entire district staff and students) are all like a big family.
A fun fact about me: I am a certified open water scuba diver and I love indoor sky diving, pizza and the color turquoise!
