Where spirit, pride, and tradition begin!

What is Bearkat Camp?

Bearkat Camp is a three-day, two-night experience for incoming SHSU Freshman that focuses on spirit, pride, and traditions of Sam Houston State University.

    Friendships

    Become a part of the SHSU community before moving in! The students you meet at BKC are the same ones you will share dorms, classes, and campus activities with.
