About Ultimate Bearkat
Ultimate Bearkat (UB) is a community of students who have completed all of the requirements listed in the Ultimate Bearkat Path on their individualized BearkatHQ profiles.
The UB path gathers all the meaningful events and programs that SHSU hosts and other important experiences that are part of a college student's journey. These events and experiences are compiled in one place for ease of access and tracking. Completing the Path to become the Ultimate Bearkat will give you lifelong skills and make your time at SHSU so much more than just going to class. UB Society will set you on your way to successfully completing your college journey and become part of the next generation of leaders.

Completing the Path
Once you have completed all the requirements, you will be eligible for induction into the Ultimate Bearkat Society as a member. During the ceremony, inductees will receive a medal to wear at graduation, symbolizing that they have become the Ultimate Bearkat.
If you cannot complete the path by March 31st and you are graduating in August, please contact Student Involvement for a modified due date and information on how to receive your medal, as a ceremony will not occur in the summer.
