CHSS Ambassadors

Become a CHSS Ambassador

The CHSS Ambassador Program is an opportunity for CHSS students to represent their college at various departmental, college, and university events. The students will have an opportunity to network with leaders across campus and in the community as well as develop leadership skills.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a CHSS major or minor
• Applicant has to have finished at least one semester at SHSU
• Applicant must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Applicant must be willing to participate in activities such as tabling and recruiting at Saturday@Sam, meeting with prospective students during tours, writing updates for the CHSS newsletter, and representing CHSS at events held on campus.

application process

• Applicants need to submit this application with a resume and letter of interest to chss@shsu.edu or in person at the CHSS Dean's Office in CHSS 290.
• Applicants will be contacted after application is reviewed by the Ambassador Officers.
