Two Doctoral Graduates Recognized by National Organization for Student Success
Two graduates from the Sam Houston State University College of Education’s Higher Education Leadership Doctoral Program were recently recognized by the National Organization for Student Success (NOSS) for their outstanding writing.

Commencement Spotlight: Jaime Peña
While pursuing his master’s degree, Peña played an integral role in the creation of the university’s First-Generation Center, which launched in June of 2022. He has since served as the center’s assistant director, despite his young age, and as a source of inspiration for one of Sam Houston State’s largest student populations.
