Engage-Ed 2027

The Teaching & Learning Center at Sam Houston State University is pleased to announce EngageED: A Conference on Effective Teaching, which will be held February 16-17, 2027, on the SHSU Huntsville campus.

EngageED is a free conference for educators that brings together faculty, instructional staff, and educational leaders to share practical strategies, research-informed practices, and innovative approaches to effective teaching and student engagement.

We are sharing this early notice so that you can reserve the dates and begin thinking about potential session ideas.

The Call for Proposals will open on August 25, 2026. The detailed CFP will include submission guidelines, important deadlines, session topic ideas and the prior conference session agenda.
