Assessment Plan Examples

This webpage provides fictitious assessment plans and accompanying completed rubrics designed to illustrate strong assessment practice. Each assessment plan is rated Good overall using the SHSU Meta-Assessment Rubric, with selected components intentionally meeting the Exemplary standard and others reflecting the Good standard. Together, the examples demonstrate how a Good assessment plan can be clear, complete, aligned, and useful for continuous improvement.

Each assessment plan is accompanied by a completed SHSU Meta-Assessment Rubric that provides ratings and detailed feedback for each component. The feedback explains the rationale for each rating and identifies the additional evidence, justification, or implementation detail needed to reach the Exemplary standard.
